The following recommendations are designed to minimize the risks to our community:
- Avoid all non-essential contact with others. Give yourself plenty of space from other people. Please remember that some people don’t have any symptoms, and can spread the virus without knowing it. This is why it’s important to avoid any unnecessary contact with others, even if they don’t seem sick.
- Wear a mask when you’re around other people, and stay away from people who aren’t wearing theirs.
- Avoid crowded spaces. This includes restaurants, casinos, concerts and stores during busy shopping times
- Keep your hands clean and don’t touch anything unless you have to. Keep a bottle of hand sanitizer with you, and use it after every stop. Be sure not to touch your face unless you’ve recently cleaned your hands.
- Make plans for your return. If you are going into a high risk situation where you might be exposed to COVID-19, make arrangements before you leave to go into Preventive Quarantine when you get home. Preventive Quarantine means avoiding close contact with anyone except your Household Group (or Pod) - you may get groceries and other essential supplies and you may go to work but must wear a mask over your mouth and nose while you are there.
