The mask mandate is still in effect by federal law, and local governments can still mandate use of masks in public spaces. Makah Tribal Health Order 03-21 is still in effect and Phase 3 protocols still require masks in public spaces. Masks are still needed at indoor social gatherings if there are any unvaccinated humans, including children, at the gathering.
