Unfortunately, non-Makahs who do not live with enrolled Makah Tribal members are not allowed to visit the reservation at this time. Allowed visitors are no longer required to prove negative COVID test at the check-point. Vaccine Working to Protect Against New Variants of COVID in Washington The COVID variant of concern in Washington originates from the UK. The vaccine seems to protect against the UK variant, which has been more transmissible and leads to more severe illness. Due to the new UK variant, the WA Road Map to Recovery is on hold, and no region will be progressing into Phase 3. Please Continue to Wear Your Mask Please continue wearing a face mask regardless of whether or not you received the first or second dose of the vaccine. It is essential that the mask completely covers your mouth and nose.
