Makah Tribe is in phase 3 of the covid-19 Public Health Protocols

Vaccine Clinics Continue on Wednesdays and Thursdays

The Sophie Trettevick Indian Health Center will continue to hold COVID-19 Vaccine clinics every Wednesday and Thursday at the Community Gym. If you need your first vaccination, please schedule an appointment by calling STIHC at 360-645-2233. If you need your second dose, it is likely already scheduled; however, please contact STIHC if you have any questions.
Patients who are receiving their second vaccination will need to have their COVID Vaccine Record card. Please remember to continue wearing your mask and practice social distancing in public spaces for those who have completed the vaccination sequence. Community members have opened up candidly about their symptoms after receiving the second dose. Some have reported experiencing chills and fever, while others experienced very mild symptoms. Although unpleasant, many agree that they much rather experience the vaccine’s symptoms over the consequences of COVID-19.
